Dr. Ronald G. Gill graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1976 with his BA in Biology. Later he completed his PhD in Biology and Immunology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1985. In 1984 he moved to the University of Colordo Health Sciences Center under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Lafferty at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
Dr. Gill is the Scientific Director of the CCTCARE and rejoined the University of Colorado in November 2009 after directing the Alberta Diabetes Institute at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
