Ten Year Symposium - Spontaneous Operational Tolerance After Pediatric Liver Transplantation

Sandy Feng, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Feng performs liver, kidney and pancreas transplants and teaches surgical fellows, residents and medical students. Her research interest is in transplant immunology, with a particular focus on determinants of organ tolerance. Dr. Feng’s work investigates novel immunosuppressive regimens and immunosuppression withdrawal in selected liver transplant recipients. Dr. Feng is on the ITN’s Network Steering Committee and is the Principal Investigator for the ITN-sponsored study, ‘Immunosuppression withdrawal for pediatric living-donor liver transplant recipients.’
