Please join us in welcoming Sabrina Hurley, PhD, to the ITN. Sabrina comes to us most recently from the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, MD where she had a position as a lead clinical data manager. Although we’ve
recruited her from the East Coast, she has her roots in California - she has a B.S. in Biochemistry from UC Santa Cruz, and a PhD in Nutrition with a minor in Immunology from UC Davis.
During her post-doc at the NIH, she solved the 3D structure of a human lipid storage protein. Her extensive research background both in biological sciences and clinical environments has added to her public relations and management experience, all of which will provide the CTG and the ITN with another great team member!
Initially, Sabrina will be working remotely from the Bethesda office. She will be relocating to the Bay Area with her family later this summer.
Sabrina is a co-founder and business manager of the Classical Repertory Dance Theatre adult ballet company in Washington, DC. She has produced and performed in multiple annual shows with this group. Sabrina is also a
full-time mother to a loving family of five. During her free time Sabrina loves to dance, cook with her family, scuba dive, read and make Halloween costumes.
