ITN TrialShare Is Highlighted As Top Story In "Clinical Informatics News"

July 16, 2013

TrialShare, the ITN’s Clinical Trials Research Portal, continues to garner the attention of the clinical and bioinformatics world as an innovative tool in data transparency and usability. Yesterday Clinical Informatics News published a piece about TrialShare, highlighting its ease of use, its ability to facilitate interpretation of complex clinical trial data and allowing for the reproducibility of findings.

The piece featured an interview with Adam Asare, Senior Director of Bioinfomatics for ITN:

“Being publicly funded, there is a big push to be transparent and provide public access to the datasets from our clinical trials. But clinical trial data can be very complex, so making them transparent to the public can be difficult. Through methodologies made available in TrialShare, this goal can be met. As part of this process, TrialShare allows researchers to reproduce and possibly expand our findings…It’s proven successful because we understand how researchers would like to look at their data and make the best use of it.
