NSC Meeting presentation slides posted for committee members

During the second week of October, the ITN gathered with members of the NSC, NIAID, and Rho for ITN’s second NSC meeting of 2017.

During the course of the meeting ITN’s therapeutic area assessment groups met to identify strategic plan opportunities, gaps and challenges, discuss trial concepts, brainstorm mechanistic study plans, and ensure that ITN’s pipeline is focused on high impact, innovative studies. In the general sessions, members of the NSC were presented with an overview of each therapeutic area’s current portfolio and brainstormed the ways that ITN can best build on prior successes and leverage new technologies across therapeutic area. Specific topics included:

  • Transplant Portfolio Overview
    • Trial updates: OPTIMAL, ALLTOL, LITTMUS, TEACH
    • Mechanistic Summit Summary
    • MALDI - IMS Tissue Analysis
  • ​Allergy Portfolio Overview
    • “Allergen plus” strategies
    • CAT EEC update
  • Autoimmune Portfolio Overview
    • Trial updates: BRAVOS, CALIBRATE, PAUSE, Dupilumab and anti-Ox40, BEAT-MS, REBOOT
    • HALT-MS 2 year analysis
  • Type 1 Diabetes Portfolio Overview
    • Feasibility & priority of pipeline trials
    • Exhaustion analysis in T1DAL and AbATE
